Business, dedicated and GPU plans are sold with automatic resource expansion.
When your machine sits at a sustained peak we add capacity immediately rather than throttling you or letting it fall over. Each expansion is recorded against your service with the resource, the amount, the reason and the price.
Those charges are collected onto your next renewal invoice. Nothing is billed mid-cycle. You can see the running total any time on the service page in your client area, and you can ask us to release the extra capacity whenever you like.
